Low-cost plans
Broadband is an essential tool for all families, especially those with children in school, and some providers have created low-cost plans that make it easier for most families to subscribe. Below is a table that summarizes some of these plans. If your existing or prospective provider is not listed, please go to their website or contact them to see if they have a low-cost plan. Hotspots and District WiFi
Each district building has Wifi that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Wifi in every building extends into our parking lot, please see the maps below for parking locations where you can access the Princeton Public Wifi.
We have a very limited amount of hotspots to check out to families who have no or limited internet service. Hotspots work by using data from cell phone towers, so they are not a solution for all households in the Princeton School district. At this time, hotspots are being prioritized to the families with no internet service. The form to request a hotspot is located below. If the district is not able to check out a hotspot to your family, you will be placed on a waiting list.
Please note that hotspots can be purchased at any mobile device retailer or big box electronics store. A hotspot will provide you with internet service if you live in an area that can get reasonable access to cellular service. If you have a cellular phone, it also has hotspot capabilities, contact your cell phone provider to find out how much data you have available to use as a hotspot and how to connect to your hotspot.
