Summer 2026 Tiger Club
Summer Tiger Club offers childcare to students entering preschool–6th grade in the 2026-27 school year. Students do NOT need to be enrolled in Hand in Hand Preschool nor Princeton Public Schools to attend Tiger Club in the summer. Preschoolers must be toilet trained and self-sufficient in the bathroom to attend (pull-ups at rest/nap time are okay as long as they are self-sufficient if they need to clean up afterwards).
Summer Registration
Summer Tiger Club registration opens on Tuesday, February 24, at 8 AM. Enrollment requests are made in your Arux childcare account at https://isd477.arux.app/
Location and Dates
Summer Tiger Club location is at the Intermediate School.
Summer Tiger Club is open June 2–August 20 from 6 AM–6 PM, Monday–Friday.
There is no Tiger Club on the following days:
- Monday, June 1 for staff training
- Friday, June 19 for Juneteenth Holiday
- Friday, July 3 for Independence Day Holiday
- Friday, August 21 for room cleaning and school year preparation
Summer Rates & Fees
There is one daily rate for all students who attend Tiger Club during the summer, regardless of the number of days you attend. A minimum of 6 days in the summer is required for all contracts. Drop-in care is not guaranteed and will depend on staffing and class availability, so planning ahead is ideal.
*New this summer for Pre-K Tiger Club only: half-day options!

Summer Schedules
- All contracts will be charged a minimum of 6 days at the contracted rate.
- All schedules are final after May 1. You are responsible for confirming your schedule and the dates you sign up for prior to this deadline.
- After May 1 you may not remove any dates and you will be charged for all dates listed on your summer schedule.
- After May 1, drop-in days can be added and will be accepted on a space-available basis.
- Pre-K Half-Days are not available on field trip days. Please see those dates below. If you want your pre-K child to attend field trips, you must register for full days on those days and pay the field trip fee.
Fee Breakdowns
- Registration Fee: $40/contract (includes t-shirt. Please note that this registration fee is non-refundable for withdrawn contracts at any time after registering a student. Students do not receive a t-shirt if their contract is pulled before summer starts).
- Daily Fee: $43/day, or $49/day after May 1 (drop-in rate)
- Field Trip Fee: $130/contract (charged on your first summer invoice if your child is registered for any field trip days. We do not pro-rate or refund; the $130 fee applies for any number of summer field trips your child attends.)
- CE Activities Shuttle Fee: $20/contract for any kids in Community Ed camps. A shuttle sign-up form will be sent to families throughout the summer.
The field trip fee ($130/contract) is charged on the first summer invoice in mid-May and due that same week. This fee covers admission fees and transportation costs and is an additional cost to the daily fee. The field trip fee is a set price and you do not receive a discount or refund for any missed field trips.
Please note that all staff go on field trips. If you do not wish to participate in the field trips, you must make sure you do not have any field trip dates selected on your contract or you will be charged. You will also need to find separate child care on field trip days.
Field Trip Dates:
- Wed. June 10 - Hyland Lake Park/Nature Reserve
- Wed. June 24 - Como Zoo/ Park Pool
- Wed. July 15 - Big Rock Creek
- Wed. July 29 - Anoka Aquatics Center
- Thu. August 6 - Mille Lacs County Fair
- Tue. August 18 - Elm Creek Park/Swimming
We offer van transportation for students who are signed up for summer Community Ed programs. A one-time $20 CE Activities Shuttle Fee will apply for the whole summer. Our shuttle service follows the Community Ed summer schedule and is only available to those enrolled in Community Ed camps/classes. We cannot provide transportation to other activities (Ex: golf at the golf course, hockey at the arena). Our shuttle service runs Monday–Thursday from 8:00AM–3:30PM on days that Tiger Club is in session. There is no van transportation available on field trip days.
Billing and Late/Withdraw Fees
Invoices are issued every other Tuesday and must be paid in full by that Friday. Payment covers the upcoming two weeks of care and is due in full regardless of attendance. If payment is not received by the Friday due date, childcare will stop immediately and a $25 late fee will be applied. A $25 late fee will be added each billing cycle until the past-due balance is paid in full. Late fees will not be waived. Families are strongly encouraged to enroll in auto-pay through Arux to avoid late fees and interruptions in care.
If you withdraw from the program at any time, you will be assessed a $25 withdrawal fee.
Daily Summer Schedule
Kids are divided into classrooms by the grade they will be entering. If grades are combined, it will be with similar ages (ex: grades 4-6). Our summer program consists of a scheduled day with age-appropriate activities in the classroom, gym, and outside on the playground/fields. We also have fun theme-based activities throughout the summer as well as guest speakers and field trips!
There will be free breakfast and lunch again this summer for our community. All Tiger Club students will have a chance to get breakfast and lunch from the summer meals program. They will also be provided a snack each day. Students should bring a labeled water bottle each day to stay hydrated.
Summer Tiger Club staff will send out communication that will include a list of everything the kids need each day. Communication will be done through our new Arux Childcare App (more info coming soon!).
Authorized individuals who have been given permission in Arux for pick up are the only people allowed to sign your child in and out for the day. You must come into the building to sign your child in and out. If in an emergency, and your child would need to be picked up by someone not scheduled, please call the site or send a message to let the staff know. Please bring a photo ID to pick up your child.
Please review additional Tiger Club policies in our Family Handbook.
We are looking forward to a fun summer of growth, adventure, and memories! If you have any questions, please contact our Tiger Club team:
