Keeping the Internet Safe
Options for filtering the internet at home. These are just suggestions and not a requirement or recommendation from the district.
- Students at Princeton Intermediate, Middle and High School are able to check out an Internet Hotspot through their school's media center. Wifi Hotspots are available to be checked out for five (5) days at a time.
- Internet filters on Wifi Hotspots are in place to protect students from inappropriate, offensive and obscene content. Hotspots have limited cellular data capacities and will not access websites that stream video, audio, update apps or other data-heavy sites.
- Data is capped at 250Mb per day on each Wifi Hotspot. General use of a Hotspot for coursework should not reach the daily limits.
- The cellular service goes to sleep from 11pm-5am every night.
