Health & Safety Guidelines

The health and safety of our students and staff remain our number one priority. Over the last three years, our federal and state health departments have come a long way in the understanding, prevention, and treatment of COVID-19. As we shift from the pandemic to an endemic phase, we know that COVID-19 remains in our community. However, there are now high levels of immunity and effective COVID-19 vaccines and treatments that have reduced the risk.

Please help us prevent illnesses by keeping your child home if they are sick. Rapid antigen tests will still be available for pickup from the school health offices as long as supplies last. School districts in Minnesota are no longer responsible for contact tracing, and we will follow the recently-updated Guidance for K-12 Schools from the | CDC, which includes a five-day isolation period for COVID -positive illness (if symptom-free), followed by five days of masking. There is no required quarantine period for exposure. Continue to watch the district social media sites for community offered vaccine clinics at the high school.
