A conversation with Jeremy Peterson, MD

Minnesota Academy of Family Physicians member Jeremy Peterson, MD, FAAFP, a family physician at M Health Fairview Clinic - Princeton, was appointed to Medical Advisor of Princeton Public Schools Independent School District 477 in 2023. Peterson's role is a volunteer position, believed to be one of the first of its kind in the state.

In an interview with M Health Fairview last fall, Peterson had this to say about the role: "My goal is to work with the school district to develop policy and serve as a touchpoint for issues that affect the student population. Rather than working one on one, as I do in my medical practice, in this role, I help solve issues that might arise with the whole population of students as well as school staff."
