Middle School Years

There's no more obvious place to see transformation and change than inside the walls of a middle school. Kids grow, sometimes at very different rates from their peers. Their maturity grows, but we know that developmentally their brains are still growing too. And despite how independent they’re ready to be, they also need a lot of support. Consider physical and emotional changes, and mix in rising social and academic expectations. It’s a lot of change, and it’s a lot for these students to navigate.

It’s also a time of exploration, wonder, and personal growth. We love to watch students as they find their place, and their passions. During middle school, students begin to formulate their dreams and ambitions and begin to chase their goals.

And Princeton is here to support those dreams, whatever they may be.

Princeton Middle School offers at least 30 extracurricular opportunities for students, including arts, athletics, and other activities and clubs. Participation in school activities offers students many benefits beyond the activity itself: exploring a new opportunity, developing new friendships and learning how to get along with others, practicing teamwork, leadership, conflict resolution, and so much more. Extracurricular participation is also shown to improve social-emotional wellbeing.

If you have a student in middle school next year, we encourage you to keep your eyes open for the many opportunities coming up. We’re certain your student and your family will find the right option to join!
