Sarah Marxhausen - New Leader of Princeton Primary

Princeton Public Schools is excited to announce that Sarah Marxhausen will be the new Primary School principal. The former Middle School assistant principal and current Director of Human Resources, Sarah is moving into the new role on August 1, 2018. Greg Finck, current principal is retiring after serving the Princeton community for 20 years.

Sarah reflects on leaving her role as Director of Human Resources, “I am so appreciative of everything this position has taught me and for those around me who helped me learn and grown. We are all life-long learners! It has been a pleasure getting to know staff across the district. This past year I realized how much I missed students, teaching, Tiger Pride, and the collaboration with staff at the school level. I am eager and excited to be part of the Primary School and work with their incredible team to help our young learners! Simply stated, this is my passion.”

Sarah was selected as the new principal through an interview process in February and has been with Princeton Public Schools for nine years. Sarah’s three children attend Princeton schools, and she is committed to the community.

“Thank you to those I have been able to work with over the last nine years. It has been a privilege.  You have each helped me be the person I am today,” Sarah said. “When people ask where I work, I proudly say ‘Princeton!’ Now, I will say ‘Princeton Primary School!’ I look forward to serving our district and community in this way.”
