Transportation During the First Week of School

This past month we have worked through interfacing issues with our bus routing software, and experienced some changes to staff at Palmer Bus. Together we have been working hard to correct our software issues in order to provide a positive busing experience for our students.

We ask that families please have patience with bus and van drivers as they learn new routes and routines. We recommend allowing extra time in the morning for pickup and again for drop off in the afternoon. We are confident that route timing will smooth out within the next week or so. If your child misses their pickup or drop due to inaccurate scheduling information please call Palmer Bus at 763-631-5315.

For non-urgent busing questions please use the transportation issue form linked here.  Again you can view your bus route in Family Access under the “Busing” menu or you can download the StopFinder app to access this information.

Thank you for your patience and grace this first week of school!

National Walk and Roll to School Day is on Wednesday, October 4th. This day is meant to raise awareness of road safety around walking/biking students.

Last year we rolled out the Stopfinder App so parents can view information about your student's bus route. We encourage parents whose students ride the bus to download the app.

We are in the third year of running tiered busing schedules for students, and we are committed to evaluating the system this year. This year we will be analyzing pros and cons with teachers, administrators, and the School Board.

A bus ride starts and ends the school day for many of our students, so making it a positive experience for all is something we take very seriously. Our Princeton Habits of a Tiger extend to the school buses, and set the expectations for all bus riders.
