Walk to School Day on Oct 5

National Walk and Roll to School Day is on Wednesday, October 5th. This day is meant to raise awareness of road safety around walking/biking students and school buses, to encourage students to develop healthy walking habits, and to remind us all to get outside and enjoy physical activity, fresh air, and sunshine! In Minnesota, we know how important it is to get outside (no matter the weather!), so we hope you’ll pencil in this date and keep an eye out for more information on our walk-to-school activities!

Students from grades K-12 are invited to participate in the event on October 5th. Students 9-12 will be invited to walk the High School track that morning prior to the school day starting. Students K-8 who ride the bus will be dropped off at Neighbors Restaurant to walk to school. Staff and other administrators will be on site to join in the fun and to supervise the walk. The Princeton Police Department will be present as well to ensure student safety and to help direct traffic.
