At Princeton Public Schools we recognize the importance of digital learning and instruction to help all students develop the skills necessary to succeed in our ever-changing world. With a focus on students, the digital learning plan in Princeton Public Schools includes putting 1:1 mobile devices into the hands of every student in grades 3 through 12.
Students in grades 6 through 12 will be issued a Chromebook that will travel between home and school. A charger will be issued at the same time as the chromebook, Students are expected to keep chargers at home and bring their chromebook to school each day fully charged.
Students in grades 3 through 5 will use classroom sets of iPads (3rd) or Chromebooks (4th & 5th) that will be stored at school. 4th and 5th graders will have opportunities to take their devices home, as determined by their teacher, to access curriculum and learning tools, and to utilize for collaboration.
Students will not be issued their device until the 1:1 Digital Learning Device Agreement has been completed and signed by both the student and parent/guardian.
Parent and Student 1:1 Resources can be found on the Instructional Technology page of the district website.
