Digital Learning

At Princeton Public Schools we recognize the importance of digital learning and instruction to help all students develop the skills necessary to succeed in our ever-changing world. With a focus on students, the digital learning plan in Princeton Public Schools includes putting 1:1 mobile devices into the hands of every student in grades 3 through 12.

Students in grades 6 through 12 will be issued a Chromebook that will travel between home and school. A charger will be issued at the same time as the chromebook, Students are expected to keep chargers at home and bring their chromebook to school each day fully charged. Students must have their Responsible Use Agreement signed, and a Chromebook Protection Plan option selected in Skyward before a device and charger will be issued.

Students in grades 3 through 5 will use classroom sets of Chromebooks that will be stored at school. 4th and 5th graders will have opportunities to take their devices home, as determined by their teacher, to access curriculum and learning tools, and to utilize for collaboration. Students in 4th and 5th grade must have their Responsible Use Agreement signed, and a Chromebook Protection Plan option selected in Skyward before they will be able to take their device home.

All students will need to have the Responsible Use Agreement signed as part of their back to school registration forms. These agreements will be reviewed in classrooms throughout the year as we teach grade level appropriate positive digital citizenship skills. Copies of the Responsible Use Agreements and Chromebook Protection Plan options are available on this page.
