High School Supply List

School-Wide Attire Guidelines

When shopping for school clothes, please keep in mind our dress code expectations. Per district policy, students are expected to wear clothing that adequately covers their body; strapless tops are prohibited, as is excessively revealing clothing. Dress and/or grooming which is not in accordance with reasonable standards of health, safety, modesty, and decency will be considered inappropriate. In addition, messages that are racist, sexist, or otherwise derogatory to a protected minority group are prohibited. General Supplies for all Students

  • Writing implements such as pencils and pens (blue or black for science)
  • 2 or 3 highlighters
  • Notebook and folder/binder for each class  OR larger notebook with section for each class 
  • Refillable water bottle
  • Current Student Comments and Recommendations
    • students indicate they brought way too many items in the past and recommend to not bring as many (pencils, locker ornaments, etc.)
    • chargers/earphones are helpful
    • sweater/sweatshirt are sometimes needed for various temperatures
    • full-sized notebooks with sections are useful
    • backpack 
Band
  • Refillable water bottle (can use the same one as above)
  • 2-4 pencils
  • Reeds (as applicable for your instrument)
  • Valve and Slide oil (as applicable)
Science
  • It is suggested for students to have their own calculator
  • Blue or black pens or pencils
  • 9th grade: 3 ring binder
  • Colored pencils
  • Crayons
  • Markers
  • Composition notebook for college chemistry/AP Physics
Math
  • Folder & Notebook designated for Math Class only, for organization
  • 3-4 pencils
  • Scientific Calculators required for:
    • Intermediate Algebra
    • Geometry
    • Advanced Algebra
    • Math Analysis
  • Graphing Calculators (TI-83+ or TI-84+ recommended) required for:
    • AP Statistics
    • AP Calculus
Physical Education
  • Swim Unit (9th grade only): Towel, swimsuit, goggles (optional)
  • Sneakers and a change of clothes for other Physical Education classes
CTE (Welding, Automotive, Engineering, Woods)
  • Safety Glasses
  • Tape Measure
  • Welding Gloves (either purchased by students or purchased from instructor for $8.00)

English

  • Folder for handouts
  • Writing utensil
