Princeton Public Schools will be open this fall to continue working toward our mission to be an innovative leader in instruction, developing in EVERY learner the ability to succeed in an ever-changing world.  While we are still awaiting guidance and information, we suspect we will likely be offering some hybrid mix of educational offerings this fall. The educational format we pursue will depend on future orders from the Governor, guidance from the CDC and MDH, and directives from the Minnesota Department of Education.   

On June 17 we kicked off our first meeting of the 20-21 Fall Planning Task Force. This group is made up of staff members from all levels of our organization, and is broken into five subcommittees.  These subcommittees will focus on planning in the areas of Health & Safety, Student Learning, Climate & Culture, Operations, and Communications.

The task force will create plans based upon three educational scenarios: in person/traditional school, distance learning, or a hybrid blend of both.  The final decision of how school will be held this fall will be shared with families the week of August 17th.  This will give the district time to finalize our plans once the guidelines are published by the MN Department of Education at the end of July. Whatever our plan turns out to be, we know that it will be grounded in our district mission, values, and our continuous improvement plan.
