Dear Parents/Guardians,
This next week as we continue our social and emotional learning, our 3rd graders will be working on part 1 of Solving Problems, and our 4th and 5th graders are working through part 2 of Solving Problems. This week I have included the Homelink that goes with each lesson - Each grade level has a homelink below.
Grade 3 - Lesson 17 Homelink - Solving Problems, part 1
Grade 4 - Lesson 17 Homelink - Solving Problems, part 2
Grade 5 - Lesson 17 Homelink - Solving Problems, part 2
My apologies for the communication error regarding the close contact notifications this week. I am hoping that doesn’t happen again, but please double check to make sure that the heading includes your child’s teacher or bus to make sure you are receiving the correct communication.
In just a few weeks we will be starting our statewide testing in reading, math, and science (5th grade only). We understand that this year has not been ideal and testing can be trying for some students. These tests will be used to help us measure progress and give us information to help us plan for the fall. We encourage students to simply work hard and do their very best.
The wildlife clip this week includes another wide variety of creatures. We have a startled coyote, raccoons, deer, beaver, ducks, and others in the clip this week - https://youtu.be/pLAmwxC_UKM. We have been sharing parts of these clips during our morning announcements. To view any of the over 100 videos, checkout our playlist - Wildlife Cameras YouTube playlist.
REPEAT - Attention parents of 5th graders - it is time to make a decision regarding 6th grade music options. Please use this link to choose band only, choir only, or both band and choir - 6th grade music options (for 5th grade). Please complete the form by April 26th.
We Belong, We are Tiger Strong!
Take care,
John
