Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments

Starting next week, our students will be participating in the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCAs). Our schedule is as follows: Reading on April 8–10, Math on April 21–23, and 5th Grade Science on April 28–29. These assessments provide valuable information about student learning and help guide our instruction moving forward.

Families can play an important role in helping students feel confident and prepared. Please ensure your child gets a good night’s sleep, eats a healthy breakfast, and arrives at school on time each day of testing. Encouragement also goes a long way—reminding students to simply do their best helps reduce anxiety and builds confidence. We appreciate your support in helping our students show what they know!
