About

Princeton Intermediate School is well known for having a safe and positive climate. Our staff has worked very hard to ensure that we have an inviting and nurturing community. We have been a Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) school since 2005. We simply call it Tiger Pride! We have been recognized at the state and national level for our efforts in creating this positive culture and environment. We have a strong academic program, but realize that we need to focus on the whole child. We work to develop positive relationships and cultivate social and emotional learning. We serve approximately 700 students in grade 3 – 5. The school was built in 1969, but was extensively remodeled in 2011.  This summer we also updated our flooring in our cafeteria and gym!

Our school has also been recognized at the state and national level for the use of video in teaching and sharing our Tiger Pride experiences. In addition to video creation, we have a news program that is viewed every morning, which is anchored by our students.

Each week we share a short update with all families to keep them informed about what is going on at school. We encourage parents to give us feedback through surveys and serving on various school teams.

We are a 1:1 technology district where each student in grades 3-5 has access to a Chromebook.

Welcome to the Intermediate School!
