Meal Update 2.25.21

Meal Update

If you have not heard, the USDA approved all students to be FREE for breakfast and lunches for the remainder of this school year. Encourage your student to stop by for a free meal.

What is not free is extras or just milk. If your student wants to purchase a milk for lunch, a milk for snack or a second entrée (MS/HS only). Please deposit money into their lunch accounts. Starting in March, we will again be turning on the robo-call system for negative lunch balances to assist households in being notified of accounts that reach negative status. Households were also caught unaware when we ended abruptly last spring due to the pandemic. This way we can notify all household of balances prior to return next fall when meal systems should be back to normal charging status.

Drive-Up Meal Update

Due to all students returning to on site learning on March 9, we will be ending our OPEN to the public Wednesday meal distribution. The last day we will be open to all is March 3, 2021. For any enrolled students (K-12) still doing 100% distance learning after March 9, we will contact those households via email to register for optional meal pick up. Program specifics will be given in that communication.

P-EBT Update

For households currently on free/reduced status, you may have heard about the P-EBT benefits your household could receive. If you have questions, please direct them to the state address below. They have a customer service phone line to assist you. School districts have just been asked to help provide communication as needed.
