Three ways to vote on the upcoming referendum. 

Vote early at home: September 17-November 1

Step 1: Request a ballot application to vote early in one of three ways:

Step 2: Return your ballot application in one of four ways:

  • Return a hard copy of your ballot application to the district center (706 1st Street, Princeton, MN 55371).
  • Return a hard copy of your ballot application to the district center by mail.
  • Fax your application to 763-389-9142.
  • Email it to Michelle Czech, Director of Business Services, at michelle.czech@isd477.org.

Step #3: Once your application has been completed and returned, you will be issued an early voting ballot.

You can request it be mailed to you OR you can pick it up from the district center during the times outlined below starting Friday, September 17. If you opt to pick up your ballot in person, you can fill it out immediately or you can take it with you and return it at your convenience.

  • Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
  • Tuesday and Thursday: 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Step #4: Your ballot must be returned to the district center by Election Day (Tuesday, November 2) - either by mail or in-person.

Vote early in person: September 17-November 1

  • District residents may vote early in-person at the Princeton Public Schools District Center, 706 1st Street, Princeton, MN 55371.
  • In-person early voting is available on weekdays from starting Friday, September 17 - Monday, November 1.
    • Hours for Early Voting are:
      • Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays - 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
      • Tuesdays & Thursdays - 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • ​​​​​​​NOTE: If you plan to vote early in-person, you can complete your application and ballot at the same time at the district center.

Vote on Election Day: Tuesday, November 2

Election Day is Tuesday, November 2. Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Based on your township/county of residence, Election Day voting is available at the following six locations.
